Options of Senior Housing

Independent & Assisted Living

When looking for an option to remain independent without having the responsibilities to cook and clean, Independent Living is the best option. Many Independent Living Communities recognize the need for those who don't yet have care needs. Residents live in an environment where they can maintain their independence and enjoy the luxuries of prepared meals by stellar chefs, entertainment, social time with other residents, fitness activities, transportation to events and more!

Assisted Living communities provide a variety of assistance including help with bathing, dressing, cooking, cleaning, transferring, showering and medication management. Most communities have plans to meet your needs while you enjoy the amenities of Independent Living.

Board and Care / R.C.F.E.

Board and Care Home or "Residential Care Facility for the Elderly" is another type of Assisted Living community. These care homes typically have 6 residents and provide a more individualized care experience. This is a great option for those who may enjoy a smaller, intimate home environment.

These care homes are licensed by the state of California and provide non-medical care services, such as assistance with bathing, dressing, cooking, incontinence care, feeding, medication management and memory care. Many of these facilities can accommodate couples, as well as care for persons with higher care needs.

Allyson Senior Solutions will work to find you the best care home within your budget and location you desire.

Memory Care

For those with mild cognitive impairment, or with a diagnosis of dementia or Alzheimer's disease, memory care may become a must for families. Memory care communities are growing to meet the number of people who are being diagnosed every day. Memory Care is the best option for those with severe memory loss, or for those who have had changes in personality, mood or behavior.

Many assisted living communities have memory care that specialize in working with persons with memory loss. Some board and care facilities also provide memory care.
